The adidas shelltoes were first made popular in the 80′s by the rap group Run DMC based in the United States of America. The had a song about the shoes called “My Adidas” and they flashed the footwear a lot of time in the video. Actually, even before Run DMC started promoting what came to be known as Adidas most popular shoe, a lot of NBA players were wearing them on the court in America and Europe.
